NEWSLETTER ONE:
Fatmeatgreasy.com (2-0) – The 2008 fall champs are finally all back together again and making noise as usual…their play has been solid and they look primed to try to reclaim what Marlene seems to think is theirs….they have solid QB play and some speed at safety, particularly Maxwell…um sorry…Norm, which usually bails out the so/so play of their cornerbacks….they were the underdogs last year and relished that role…it will be interesting to see if they play as well from ahead of the standings as they wound up playing from behind last year…

NEWSLETTER TWO:
Fatmeatgreasy.com (3-0) – 3 weeks in and looking good…they always seem to get a interception that turns the tide of the game and avoid costly turnovers that could swing back momentum….they are the true definition of team as none of their players are particularly eye popping but all are solid and know their roles well…they have had a tough schedule and if they get past the Panthers this week they may be considered the team to beat for the title…Coach Fisher has them on their toes and will keep them on them all season…

NEWSLETTER FOUR:
Fatmeatgreasy.com (5-0) – The former fall champs just keep rolling along….and I guess no one believed they won it all before because they have brought their own camera crew out to prove it…what makes them go is their QB play…Flash plays under control, does not turn the ball over and makes the big play with is arm or legs when it is available….not sure if we see anyone being able to stop them from grabbing their 2nd chip…

NEWSLETTER FIVE:
Fatmeatgreasy.com (6-0) – Another week and they just keep rolling….if they are going to take an L their best shot in the next two weeks is vs. Arsenal….they are deep, talented and hungry….the one weakness we see is in their deep zone…Norm covers a lot of field but if you run two people in opposite directions deep, how can he cover both??? That said if you can’t stop them from scoring you can’t win….and no one has stopped them from scoring all year….

NEWSLETTER PLAYOFF EDITION:

Fatmeatgreasy.com (6-2) – Started the season like gang busters…ended it like just plain old busters…losing two in a row is one of two things: 1. GREAT – It might wake them up and knock them out of a sense of overconfidence…maybe the big head got them in trouble and caused a lack of focus….2. TERRIBLE – Perhaps the league has figured them out and realized they are not as good as the 6-0 start made them out to be….Either way we are sure they will come out prepared and ready to shoot for the title…

Strengths – Accurate and mobile QB, leadership, a safety that covers a lot of ground, athletic and talented ladies; especially at WR, height….

Weaknesses – Suspect zone defense, only one above average male WR, no real big play threat outside of QB….

Prediction – Close but no cigar…lose in second round…

     2009 RESULT:  CHAMPIONS!
